They get points for not trying to write an R&B version of their ?dah dah dah DAH dah? tune, and the production values were fairly impressive for the brand. But what drives me crazy is that it?s a straight rip from the old Budweiser campaign: ?You?re still not getting my bud light?.
Ultimately, the consumers won?t care or realize it?s happening. Hell, half of McD’s demographic probably wasn’t even born when those ads ran. And the fact they had the balls to run the spot, even if it is a bite off Bud, is a credit to them. But the day I?ll really be impressed with McDonalds is the day something truly original leaves their doors. (That goes for their food and their ads.)
