AOL sounds like a stock ticker and corporate this at least come's off more human in my opinion. Plus I think the stock behind this typeface brand is really just to give context to the new identity. I'll wait to give my final opinion when the full brand roll out happens though I think theirs a lot of work that will need to be released in the coming weeks.
