With copy writing and creative direction like this, you don’t have to say much more. Google really nailed the execution of their Parisian trip, turned into a bun in the oven ad. Overall the ads were less competitive this year for your attention. The memorable things from the night were pant-less people and ads that missed the mark. Doritos had one shining moment where the child said you keep your hands of my Doritos and my momma. But they were overall quite twisted spots, it’s surprising they weren’t launching “something twisted” Doritos but overall this year was flat. Oh and this Google spot although it’s a nice one-off, I think it will be used in multiple ways in the future as a part of a larger campaign. Where was bing.com and what the heck was Budweiser thinking with their bridge ad, disturbing and brand damaging?
