Pretty cute ad placement and the creative is fair. Cool stuff.

I did not believe it at first, but I searched for an invite to try it as soon as I heard the words “Console Killer”. So I am eager to tell you all about it but I can’t divulge anything other than yes that it does in fact work. Get ready to sell your consoles and for you mac users: Holy shit you’re going to be able to play any game you want. Oh and for you doubters, they can actually make games look better than they would if you played them with a console because they have better hardware than can modular-ly be made ( at least in this current generation of game consoles. )

Oh nothing beats a ridiculous youtube spot… enjoy
This is downright disgusting BP has plenty of money so it buys up the Google & Yahoo keywords for “Oil Spill” & “Gulf Oil Spill”, in a marketing attempt to stimy the social media outrage about their company. And then they make this website to promote their hardworking attempts to stop this mess they created. Wow save your money and send it to the fishermen who’s livelihoods you ruined. And to the states to fix their wild life preserves. And to everyone… except the marketing team… It is a little too late for that.
High concept time wasting. I dig what these guys are doing, and according them their all about anarchy, freedom, communication, super big, and art. In other words the site owners created a space where people can have a little fun. As it is right now it is reminiscent of an high-school artist’s doodled notebook.
Just took a gander at HTML5 and I gotta say I liked what I’ve seen. (SVG) or scalable vector graphics do wonders for typography. Designers are going to be excited about this update no more “but you have to use web fonts because those are translatable!”
This is a fun spot sent in by a friend working on the print side of this project. Some beautiful shots and quite young and refreshing.
I love when people use space for advertising in new ways. I am surprised and airline has not had something like this before. This is a pretty unique ad but Back To The Future’s car would have been cooler though!
This just popped up on the radar this weekend, Smokescreen is an open-source conversion tool to take flash swfs to a Java + HTML5 Compliance ( err developer speak, all we need to know is they’re claiming it will take flash ads and convert them to be ready for the iPad. ) And if it works on the iPad I wonder is Steve Jobs is going to be pissed? Or will this work into their master plan? This is definitely software in its beta-state and who knows if it will be completed… But if it does: than Flash just has one more hula-hoop developers will have to jump through to get their projects running across multiple platforms.
So it looks like MTV is trying to bring back the storyline from Lucas the feature film, and co polinate it with HBO’s TV show HUNG. WTF, This ad well gets your attention and is ridiculous… but do we really need to go down this road just to be relevant to teens?
